You now have more options for online payments.

The City of Rockmart now offers 3 online payment options:

• Citation payments
• Utility bill payments
• Property tax payments

Citation payments have been available for payment online for some time now and have not changed, but the 2 new additions allow you to pay your City of Rockmart Water, Sewer and Garbage bills through the Utility Bill Payment option and your City of Rockmart real and personal property taxes through the Property Tax Payment option. These new additions will allow you to access your account to view what is outstanding.

To be able to utilize these options, you need the following information. For Utility Payments, you need your account number and your PIN, which is on your Utility Bill, and for Property Tax Payments, you need your Map/Parcel Number and the PIN, which is on your Tax Bill. A Lasting Testament

To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the city in 1997, the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center and the Georgia Council for the Arts sponsored the historic mural located on Elm Street in downtown Rockmart. The mural features historic images representing Recreation, Education, Industry, Religion, and Commercial Business.

There were 108 volunteers who came together to create this lasting testament to the heart and spirit of community pride and cooperation.
