Welcome
The Rockmart Cultural Arts Center is a place for the community to enjoy, participate and learn about the visual, performing and literary arts. We are located behind the Rockmart Library and City Center.
Free Admission to the Gallery during regular hours or by appointment. Art Classes are offered throughout the week. All are invited to our Art Gallery, which has 6 different Art Exhibits each year, including Juried Exhibits, Solo Artist Shows, Student Art Show, Themed Exhibits and more.
Our RCAC Gift Shop has hand made Arts and Crafts made by our members. Items
include pottery, paintings, prints, photographs, note cards, jewelry, toys,
wood turned bowls, fused glass, ornaments, books and T-shirts.
Goal
The goal of the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center (RCAC) is to further opportunities in the appreciation, participation, presentation and performance of the various arts, to promote understanding and education in the arts, and to provide service and support to the community.

Programs
Rockmart Cultural Arts Center
On the top floor of the Arts Center are four working Artist Studios: Lee Simpkins, Lily Green, Elizabeth Mobley and James Hill.
The top floor also has a Classroom, Art Library and Community Chorus room.
Our Pottery studio and two Art Classrooms are located on the bottom floor.
We offer classes, workshops, various programs and events for the community.
The main floor houses the Art Gallery, Gift Shop and the Office of Arts Director Peggy Cline.
Youth and Community: Classes, Camps, Scholarships, Projects
Youth Art classes are offered throughout the school year. Summer is dedicated to our youth with many Summer Camp programs offered at the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center and The Rockmart Theatre. Each camp ends with a Youth Art Exhibit or Performance by the students. Camps are taught by professional educators in their field.
We offer a RCAC Fine Arts Scholarship each year to a senior who will be majoring in the Fine Arts. We have a booth at local festivals with fun art activities for the children.
The community often participates in projects sponsored by RCAC such as the 125th Anniversary Mural . 
The Rockmart Theatre
The Rockmart Theatre is also part of RCAC. Performances in our theatre include our Rockmart Community Chorus, Summer Theatre Camp productions, RMS and RHS Thespians and their productions, plus local and community group performances. Local and Area singers, songwriters, and musicians perform in one of the best sounding theatres in North Georgia. Proceeds support Rockmart Cultural Arts Center and local artists.

Community Chorus
Rockmart Community Chorus performs several times during the year in addition to the two concerts presented at The Rockmart Theatre each year - one in the spring and the other for Christmas. Members are volunteers from within the community. They rehearse each Tuesday at 7 PM in the upper level of the Cultural Arts Center. Visual Arts
The RCAC Art Gallery features Art Exhibits that are rotated on a regular basis by the Visual Arts Committee to feature local artists and works from outside sources.
Our Gift Shop is open year-round and is a great place to shop for LOCAL Arts and Crafts in all mediums from local artists.
